Regenerative Arboriculture

We care for trees from the ground up, starting with roots, soil, and the living systems they depend on. Our approach is less about cutting and more about listening. We focus on thoughtful pruning, soil renewal, and long-term health, helping trees grow with strength, character, and purpose. Whether it’s an old orchard tree or a young sapling, we treat each one as kin in the wider web of life.

All regenerative arboriculture work is led by Christopher Baker, an ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), blending deep ecological knowledge with professional tree care standards.

Services

Consulting

We begin with careful observation — looking at tree health, soil conditions, and the wider story of your landscape. Our assessments guide long-term, low-impact decisions rooted in ecology.

Soil Work

Healthy trees begin underground. We restore soil life through compost teas, mulching, gentle decompaction, and fostering microbial and mycorrhizal partnerships.

Tree Health & Monitoring

Seasonal or annual check-ins to keep trees thriving — we track changes, address early signs of stress, and provide care plans rooted in long-term resilience.

Structural Pruning

We guide growth, not just shape it — with pruning that supports strong structure, storm resistance, and the tree’s natural form over time.

Succession Planning

We help you plan for the next generation — selecting the right trees, in the right place, for beauty, function, and ecological integrity far into the future.

Orchard Restoration & Pruning

From ancient apples to young plantings, we specialize in restoring tree form, vigor, and fruiting potential with care that honors each tree’s story.

Ornamental Pruning

Subtle, intentional pruning for structure, balance, and beauty — supporting plant health while respecting natural form.

Tree Planting

We plant with purpose — native and adapted species selected for your soil, site, and goals. Each tree is placed with future canopy, wildlife, and water in mind.

Monitoring Programs

Ongoing stewardship plans to track tree and soil health — perfect for orchards, legacy trees, and landscapes you love. Includes seasonal care and notes.

Habitat Pruning & Wildlife Creation

When a tree is no longer safe but still vital, we create snag habitats, nesting pockets, and deadwood structures to nourish birds, insects, and fungi.

Tree Preservation (Protection)

During construction or disturbance, we act early to protect root zones, minimize compaction, and guide crews to preserve your living canopy.
